Your Responsibilities Promote sale of parts and accessories to all customers: walk-in, telephone or internal technicians Provide exceptional customer service to maximum customer satisfaction Keep abreast of all new products and updates through continuous learning Locate all parts as requested by customers and/or technicians Prepare parts invoices and credit notes for all counter sales and issues parts for all work orders Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock Accurately document all shipping and receiving of parts Maintain files and update parts related information on a regular basis What We Look For High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Post-secondary diploma or trade certification preferred Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge preferred At least 4+ years of work experience in a parts counter role Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times Must have valid Driver’s License Forklift Certification or ability to attain certification Inland Truck & Equipment is an industry leader in the heavy-duty truck and equipment sales, service, and parts marketplace.
