Field Services Technician Location: Barrie, ON (Field-Based) Pay: $26-$28/hour ($50,000-$60,000) Insight Global is seeking a Field Services Technician for a growing organization specializing in communications and equipment installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in an independent field environment. What You'll Be Doing Install, modify, and maintain equipment in vehicles, facilities, and infrastructure Pull and run cabling for communications equipment and related systems Perform drilling, mounting, and hardware installations Troubleshoot issues in the field and develop practical solutions independently Work with 12V and 48V systems Travel between customer sites using a company-provided vehicle Participate in an on-call rotation after the training period for overtime pay opportunities. What We're Looking For Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools Experience working around vehicles, equipment, or industrial facilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated personality Ability to work comfortably in a field-based environment Experience with 12V/48V electrical systems is an asset Experience with 2-way radios is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Comfortable working at heights up to 300 feet Willing to climb towers and cranes when required Able to lift, pull, and run cable Comfortable performing hands-on installation work outdoors and in industrial environments Working at Heights certification is not required; training will be provided if needed Compensation & Benefits $50,000 - $60,000 Overtime available On-call rotation after 3-6 months of training 1.5x pay rate for on-call callouts RRSP matching program Company vehicle provided for site travel If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving technical problems, and being out in the field, apply today! This Posting is for a current vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position. Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.

Install, modify, and maintain communications equipment and cabling across vehicles, facilities, and infrastructure. Troubleshoot field issues independently and participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance.

Candidates must be mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools and the ability to work at heights up to 300 feet. Experience with 12V/48V systems and 2-way radios is considered an asset.
