Partnership Development Specialist (Bilingual) Status: Full-time (Permanent) – Existing Vacancy Location: Open to candidates across Canada, with a strong preference for candidates based in British Columbia or Alberta. Candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area or Ottawa work on a hybrid basis with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week. Candidates based elsewhere in Canada work remotely. Reports to: Manager, Partnerships Salary Range: From CAD $69,300 – $75,900 annually depending on the level of experience the candidate has. About the role This role is for you if you're a highly organized, detail-oriented, fully bilingual (French and English) specialist who thrives on managing relationships, owning competing priorities across a partner portfolio, and bringing projects to life from start to finish. You'll acquire new partners and manage an existing portfolio of sponsor and partner accounts, acting as the key point of contact to ensure seamless communication and exceptional day-to-day service in both languages. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll oversee the delivery of sponsorship and marketing commitments, tracking contracts, managing timelines, and ensuring all deliverables meet established KPIs and SLAs. From shaping marketing content to monitoring campaign performance and preparing partner reports, you'll drive successful activations and build long-term partnerships. What you’ll love about this role New Business Development Manage the full sales cycle- from prospecting to closing new partner agreements. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of earned revenue and in-kind partnership prospects. Collaborate with internal teams to shape partnership opportunities aligned with ICC’s goals. Support negotiations to finalize partnership terms, ensuring KPIs and service standards are met. Account Management Provide ongoing support to a portfolio of partners, managing communications, and deliverables. Lead partner meetings to explore new opportunities and strengthen relationships. Facilitate smooth handovers of new partners to the account management team. Revenue and Member Engagement Growth Contribute to partnership strategies that drive revenue and Canoo member engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to activate and align partnership initiatives with ICC priorities. Assist in creating sales materials and presentations to promote ICC’s paid services. Identify and build relationships with organizations that add value to Canoo membership. Reporting and Analysis Track and analyze partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement. Prepare reports with key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future growth. Use data to refine acquisition strategies and enhance overall sales efforts. Travel Travel up to 25% of the time for partner meetings and events across Canada. French Language Support Support ICC initiatives with French-language communications, including translation and participation in Francophone events. What we’re looking for in the perfect candidate Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred 3–4 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, including full-cycle ownership from prospecting through close Fully bilingual (French and English), with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Comfort with negotiation and structuring commercial or in-kind partnership terms Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage a partner portfolio and pipeline independently and prioritize across multiple priorities and deadlines Experience using performance data and reporting to inform partnership strategy and improve sales outcomes Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tracking deliverables, contracts, and reporting Passion for ICC's mission and a commitment to improving newcomer experiences in Canada Bonus Points If You Have Experience working with sponsorships, partnerships, or nonprofit/philanthropic organizations Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management platforms (Asana, Trello, etc.) Familiarity with marketing coordination, content development, or campaign execution Hands-on experience supporting marketing campaigns or brand activations across digital, print, or events What We Offer: A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
