Role Description We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused General Insurance Advisor to join our growing team in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will provide expert insurance advice, deliver exceptional customer service, and help clients protect what matters most through personalized insurance solutions. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities Provide professional advice and recommendations on personal lines insurance products, including: Auto Insurance (ICBC) Home Insurance Tenant Insurance Condo Insurance Travel Insurance Recreational Vehicle Insurance Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities that align with clients' needs. Explain policy coverages, exclusions, and options in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Process insurance transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support customer retention. Stay current with product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory updates. Qualifications Required Level 2 General Insurance License in British Columbia. Minimum 2 year of insurance experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. Proficiency with computer systems, EPIC and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience with ICBC insurance transactions. Preferred Level 2 Agent but will consider experienced Level 1 Experience working in a brokerage environment. Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management.
