The company is known for being approachable, client-centered, and service-driven. Role Description The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey, BC. This role is responsible for managing personal lines insurance accounts, including homes, vehicles, and other personal assets, while providing clear and friendly guidance to clients. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing coverage needs, processing policy changes, handling renewals, preparing quotes, and assisting clients with claims inquiries. The Personal Lines Account Manager will respond to client questions in person, over the phone, and by email, ensuring accurate information and timely follow-up. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, collaborating with team members to resolve complex situations, and contributing to a positive, client-focused office environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Account Management, with the ability to build, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a client-first approach. Candidates should possess knowledge of Personal Insurance products, including home, auto, and other personal lines coverage. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Insurance fundamentals, policy structures, and underwriting guidelines. Relevant provincial insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain it promptly) is required. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and comfort working with insurance management systems and office software are beneficial. Prior experience in a brokerage or insurance environment and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team setting are preferred.
