For more information, please visit https://insurelineempire.com/ Responsibilities Selling new business and cross selling Providing service to personal lines clients Providing customers with prompt service by providing advice, discussing customer concerns, and including but not limited to walk-ins, emails, and phone calls Understanding of insurance coverage options, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations Understanding of basic marketing principles and tactics Analyze client’s situations and assess risks to make the right recommendations, calculate premiums, and ID coverage gaps Entering and updating clients’ information in our BMS system Preparing documentation for insurers; completing applications for new clients; and issuing binders Communicating with insurance companies and underwriters regarding policy changes, renewals, and new business Following up with adjusters on claims status Updating of insurance summaries to correspond with current change requests Keeping current with activities and workload Follow branch workflows Required Qualifications Alberta general level 1 insurance license Small commercial experience of 1+ years Ability to speak Punjabi required Proficient in Microsoft office 365 experience Writing: adequate non-verbal communication skills Provide prompt and exceptional customer service Effective time management Good rapport: accuracy importance is high for this role, consistency, and reliability Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of personal lines experience Alberta general level 2 insurance license RIBO level 1 Life license is an asset Experience with Epic is an asset Ability to multi-task, problem solve, critical think and be detailed oriented in a fast-paced environment Able to be pro-active and work both independently, and as a part of a team Positive and respectful attitude with both clients and co-workers High degree of professionalism and integrity Benefits Stat and observed holidays off Minimum 4 weeks vacation to start Health spending account Paid birthdays’ off Time in lieu available KPI bonus program Monthly employee gift card draws Monthly birthday lunch (chosen by you!)
