Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. About the role We’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager to join our growing Auto team! What you’ll do here: Directs and coordinates the activities of Adjusters and Customer Service Representatives related to the processing of claims in order to achieve objectives in terms of commitment, management of excess costs, efficiency and customer service. Contributes to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring team performance, ensuring quality of claims handling, level of compliance with standards, procedures and productivity. Manage the activities of his/her team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to the budget, while promoting teamwork and guiding their technical training. Participate in the improvement of operational processes. Make decisions for his/her team regarding the processing of claims and the payment of indemnities in accordance with company standards. Promote the brand image and business principles to partners.
