Afternoon Shift EDM Operator

Integrity is actively recruiting an Afternoon Shift EDM Operator to join our expanding team. As an EDM Operator, you will learn the mold making industry from a machining perspective. This team member will work alongside the other members of the EDM department to ensure a quality product is produced every time. This position will report directly to the Machining Group Leader. Duties and Responsibilities: Program effective and efficient tool paths Setup work pieces (core, cavity, components, etc.) Accurately load and unload EDM robots Responsible for the quality of the products they are burning Meet tight deadlines for jobs assigned to them Required Qualifications: Ability to work steady afternoon shift 1-2 years’ experience with the EDM process an asset, but not required Experience with Makino machines and Tebis software an asset, but not required Ability to accurately set up jobs, understand burn settings and program Strong work ethic Ability to follow line-up from leader and learn company procedures Good communication and organizational skills Company Overview: Integrity has been specializing in custom plastic injection molds primarily for the automotive industry since 2000. Our main areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, standard injection, multi-shot rotary, chrome grill products, and large interior trim. The operator is responsible for programming efficient tool paths and setting up work pieces for the EDM process. They must accurately manage EDM robots and ensure the quality of burned products while meeting tight deadlines.

Candidates should have the ability to work a steady afternoon shift and a strong work ethic. Experience with the EDM process, Makino machines, and Tebis software is considered an asset.
