Staff Engineer – C#/.NET

We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion and go-live of apps that support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry. We're looking for a Staff Engineer who thrives in fast-paced engineering environments and enjoys solving difficult technical problems while mentoring other engineers. This is not a management position. You'll be expected to remain hands-on while influencing architecture, driving engineering excellence, mentoring teams, and building highly scalable enterprise platforms used by some of the world's largest Financial Services organizations. We are looking for Engineers who can: Lead engineering initiatives while remaining an active contributor. Design scalable distributed applications using C# and .NET. Drive architecture discussions and technical decision-making. Establish engineering standards and best practices. Mentor senior and junior engineers through code reviews and design sessions. Build enterprise-grade backend systems using C# and .NET. Design RESTful APIs and microservices. Build highly available distributed systems. Optimize application performance and scalability. Develop secure, maintainable, and testable software. Develop cloud-native applications on AWS. Work with Docker and Kubernetes. Build CI/CD pipelines. Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives. Partner closely with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams. Troubleshoot production issues. Perform root cause analysis. Improve observability and monitoring. Enhance application reliability and resiliency. Participate in production support and release activities. Financial Services Engineering. Experience building enterprise applications within: Banking Payments Trading Capital Markets Financial Services Insurance is highly preferred. Required Qualifications, Must Have 12+ years of software engineering experience. 10+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development. Experience leading complex technical initiatives. Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented Design. Strong knowledge of Design Patterns and SOLID principles. REST API development. Microservices architecture. SQL Server or PostgreSQL. Event-driven architecture. Kafka or similar messaging technologies. AWS Cloud. Docker. CI/CD. Linux / Unix. Git. The Staff Engineer will lead engineering initiatives while remaining an active contributor, designing scalable distributed applications and driving architecture discussions. They will also mentor other engineers and build highly scalable enterprise platforms for the Financial Services industry.

Candidates must have 12+ years of software engineering experience and 10+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development. Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and experience with AWS and microservices architecture is required.
