The Technologist performs technical work involved in the Molecular Microbiology Program. The Technologist performs nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT) on clinical specimens, evaluates and verifies results, prepares related reports and performs notifications as required. Field of practice for this position is: Microbiology This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) position. Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days and evenings. The Technologist performs routine and complex tests within the Molecular Microbiology Program using manual procedures and automated instruments. Key duties include conducting nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT) on clinical specimens and verifying results for reporting.

The candidate must be an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist with a passion for Medical Laboratory Science. They should be reliable, flexible, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
