We are hiring for a relief part-time 0.62fte Occupational Therapist for our primary care network team in Kelowna. This is a temporary opportunity until July 2027 or the return of the current incumbent. This position works alongside family Physicians and other allied health clinicians to support clients with OT assessment and interventions, including some group work. This position predominantly supports clients in the Rutland and Lake Country geographical area and therefore a valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle is a requirement. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes. Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers. Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living. Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings. Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
