Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours. About this Location Interior Health has embarked on an expansion plan to meet increasing demands, expand health services, and enhance patient care in the Okanagan. Construction of the six-storey, Centennial Patient Care Tower was completed in May 2012. It includes an expanded emergency department and ambulatory care department, five new operating rooms, a rooftop helipad, an expanded adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and extra space for more patient beds in the future. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, and evaluation of client care within a surgical setting. They work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide pre and post-surgical care for thoracic, plastics, urology, and dental patients.

Candidates must be experienced Registered Nurses who are reliable, flexible, and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. A specialized body of knowledge based on nursing science is required to deliver client-centered care.
