InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America. Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in touchless biometric technologies, including facial recognition, fingerprint, and finger‑vein scanning. They support access control, workforce management, and visitor screening for enterprises worldwide. They are currently looking for a Global HR Director to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time in-office position located in Toronto (North York), reporting to the Owner of the company. The ideal candidate will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events (international travel required) that align with the company's marketing goals and brand identity. This individual will play a key role in creating engaging experiences to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to Executive Management, the duties and responsibilities of the Global HR Director include: Lead and operationalize HR strategy across global offices in alignment with Company’s growth objectives Oversee complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and speed Build and scale talent acquisition strategies to attract high-calibre, globally competitive talent Drive a performance-first culture, including goal setting, accountability, and leadership development Design and implement compensation and rewards structures that attract and retain top performers Own and execute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple regions, ensuring full accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable local regulations Ensure full compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating regions Establish and maintain HR policies, processes, and infrastructure to support a scaling organization Lead, mentor, and elevate the HR & Administration team to operate at a high standard of execution Oversee administrative functions, facilities, and workplace standards to support a professional, well-run environment Manage a departmental budget, report monthly Budget vs. Actual Handle confidential information and documents professionally International Travel will be required to support our global office locations Qualifications Master’s degree in human resources / HR Management or related field, and CHRP/CHRL/CHRE designations highly valued Minimum 10 years of experience in human resources and administration management Strong leadership and project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to manage budgets and expenses Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Expert in Microsoft Office and other office management software Strong time management skills and ability to drive deadlines Valid driver’s license and owns his/her own vehicle Willing and able to travel internationally Employment Rewards: Company is a Leader within their industry Permanent opportunity Full Benefits 4 Weeks PTO Annual Bonus High impact position Application Process: All Qualified candidates will be contacted.
