This role is based at our Fabrication facility in Mississauga, ON. Join a collaborative, people‑focused team where your expertise and ideas are valued. About the Role The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical maintenance activities. You will help install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Location: 6810 Invader Crescent, Mississauga, ON, L5T 2B6 Work Schedule: 12-hour continental rotation (7 night shifts over 2 weeks) What You’ll Do Plan and execute work assignments using blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions, completing tasks with efficiency. Operate hoisting and lifting devices to safely position machinery and parts. Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, tooling, molds, and building systems. Safely operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders for maintenance and repair tasks. Assemble equipment using hand and power tools as well as welding equipment. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of national, provincial, and local codes relevant to equipment, maintenance, and safety. Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with colleagues during urgent situations or shutdown periods to restore equipment operation as quickly and safely as possible. Perform additional maintenance‑related duties as needed. What You’ll Bring Canadian certification as an Electrician (309A, 442A, or Red Seal). Dual‑ticket certification (Electrician + Industrial Mechanic/Millwright) is a strong asset Experience in a manufacturing environment with machinery maintenance. Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot issues using sound judgment. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Collaborative and self‑directed work style. Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
