As a Compliance Analyst, you will assist the Manager, Regulatory Compliance in monitoring compliance through the analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources. Your goal will be to develop new and enhance existing data models, to continuously analyze and pull information to provide the team with the KPIs required to make decisions that affect our operations. Your sucess will be demonstrated in reducing financial and compliance risk by keeping up to date on operational changes. This is a 14-month fixed term position. What We Offer: Work Environment – Work onsite in our beautiful home office building with access to a fitness facility, onsite nurse, and a café Competitive Compensation – Including a parking allowance Flexible Benefits Plan – Including medical and dental benefits that are both in effect from day one Paid Vacation Wellness Support – With 24/7 access to our Employee & Family Assistance Program Opportunity to give back to some amazing causes in our community – Choose when and where to make an impact with a paid volunteer day, company volunteer opportunities and a donation matching program Your Responsibilities: Administer and enhance the Compliance Register (Nimonik), including system testing, troubleshooting, and support for business requests Monitor compliance program effectiveness through data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement Verify and maintain data accuracy through cross-referencing, validation, and quality control activities Develop and improve data models, reporting tools, and automated processes to support decision-making Prepare and present compliance reports, scorecards, KPIs, and other periodic reporting for stakeholders Track and report on internal and external audits, regulatory notices, orders, and corrective actions Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements Coordinate regulatory surveys, maintain QMS records, research emerging regulations, and support benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives Your Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong data analysis skills: able to pull stories from data and present it in a way that is relevant to the business Ability to build and nurture effective and collaborative networks and relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Critical thinking and a willingness to question the status quo Capacity to identify opportunities for and barriers to innovation Execution focused, and solution oriented Good time management skills; able to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Your Experience: Post-secondary education in Business Administration or relevant combination of education, training, and experience 3-5 years of experience in an analyst role: statistics, data analytics Proficiency in Microsoft software and tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS OneNote, MS SharePoint) Data modeling experience (e.g., Excel, Cognos, Power BI, web surveys); QMS experience Good understanding of the supply chain within the oil and gas industry is a definite asset Compliance Management Software use and reporting is considered an asset Well-versed in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations an asset The expected salary range for this position is $66,267 - $87,804.
