As an Emissions Reporting Engineer, you will join the Strategic initiatives- Capital investments team within Irving Oil’s Engineering, Procurement, & Capital Portfolio organization. In this role, you will support growth opportunities by providing emission reporting expertise, identifying opportunities to maximize benefits from regulatory programs, and supporting Emission Reduction fund and capital recovery efforts within the Growth portfolio. You will also play a key role in maintaining the company’s greenhouse gas emission inventory, ensuring accurate, timely reporting. Your success will depend on using your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish deliverables in a well-defined supervised environment. Direct, review and approve their work and deliverables Support inventory management plan for companies emissions monitoring and tracking following the GHG protocol and jurisdictional requirements Your Skills: Good understanding of refinery operations as related to capital project work Open to receiving coaching and mentoring at junior and intermediate levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills in coordinating, leading, and directing other employees and project members Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision / direction and apply sound engineering judgement on technical matters Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Your Experience: University degree in Engineering with EIT or P.Eng. designation (or immediate eligibility) in New Brunswick is required 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in downstream oil and gas industry Experience with Federal and Provincial Greenhouse Gas reporting programs is an asset The expected salary range for this position is $80,836 - $122,871. Exigences
Candidates must hold a university degree in Engineering with EIT or P.Eng. designation in New Brunswick. A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the downstream oil and gas industry, is required.
