Irving's Woodlands Division,a leader in East Coast forestry and forest products industry known for its commitment to quality products, service, and sound environmental management, is seeking a licensed Automotive Technician / Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our equipment maintenance garage operations located in Deersdale, NB.This job opportunity is ideal for someone looking to grow their career and skills! What We Offer: $2000 signing bonus (Red Seal only) Competitive pay rate between $25-$43 (based on licenses and experience) Monthly performance bonus of $150-$355 Day shift, Monday-Friday from 7am-4:30pm Overtime paid after 45 hours and a minimum 3.5 hour call-in Strong Health, Medical, Dental benefit package (cost share) Retirement savings plan 4% match Access to home cooked meals from our local cookhouse Yearly clothing and tool allowance Discount perks including gym memberships, hotel rooms, phone plans, insurance among many others Regular safety & job-related training Responsibilities Work on a fleet of ¼ ton, half ton and ¾ ton trucks as well as a variety of large equipment such as road graders, excavators, dump trucks, loaders, log trucks and trailers on an as needed basis. Troubleshooting equipment and perform equipment repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with brakes, electrical, a/c etc. Conduct inspections and repairs to ensure fleet is in good working condition Collaborate with the operations team to ensure prompt and efficient equipment mobilization Maintain a clean and organized workspace Utilize work order system to maintain records Work with supervisors on various tasks Provide support for onsite safety requirements Other garage-related activities as required Qualifications Red Seal Automotive Technician certification or Automotive Technician Apprentice (Block 1 minimum) with the motivations to grow your skills and experience 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic possessing strong skills in diagnosing, testing, and repairing vehicle systems with specialized tools and diagnostic equipment Strong welding and fabrication skills is an asset Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract are essential Dedicated to safety Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Overtime work may be required

Exigences
