Join our Woodlands team and gain hands-on experience in one of Canada’s most vital and innovative industries. You’ll be paired with a professional Operations Supervisor and immersed in real-world forestry operations that make a difference. What You Can Expect: Meaningful Work: Contribute to impactful projects in road construction, harvesting, silviculture, and transportation. Mentorship: Learn from experienced professionals who are invested in your success. Innovation: Work with cutting-edge forestry technology and sustainable practices. Career Preview: Get a realistic, hands-on look at a future in forestry. Skill Development: Build leadership, communication, and project management skills. Available Roles Student Operations Assistant Support daily operations and logistics across forestry sites. Silviculture Assistant Help manage reforestation and forest health initiatives. Harvesting Student Participate in timber harvesting operations and planning. Responsibilities Responsibilities vary by site but may include: Supporting road construction, harvesting, silviculture, and transportation teams Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency Leading or assisting with special projects that drive operational success Qualifications Enrolled in a Forestry, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or Business program Returning to school after the work term Strong communication and organizational skills High energy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Enjoy working outdoors and in team environments

Exigences
