Sr Manager, Security Operations Centre

Title: Senior Manager, Security Operations (SOC) Duration: 6 Months Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Status: Contract Our Client Our client, a leading enterprise organization. Responsibilities Lead enterprise Security Operations and incident response initiatives. Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management. Partner with technology teams to strengthen security controls across complex environments. Support security governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years leading Security Operations within a large enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response. Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS). Experience with enterprise security technologies including IAM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security. CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent certification preferred. Nice to Have Experience with cloud security (AWS or similar cloud platforms). Exposure to penetration testing, threat intelligence, or red/blue team activities. Familiarity with tools such as Splunk or other enterprise security platforms.

Lead enterprise security operations, incident response, and threat detection initiatives. Partner with technology teams to strengthen security controls and support governance and continuous improvement.

Requires over 5 years of experience leading security operations in a large enterprise environment with hands-on expertise in SIEM, EDR, and incident response. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of security frameworks and preferred certifications like CISSP or CISM.
