Italian Centre Shop is currently recruiting a Seasonal Cashier /Gift Basket Clerk at our Northland Village Location (2150-5111 Northland Dr NW) in Calgary, AB. We value, reward, and promote team members who are passionate about food, family, community and committed to doing a great job Schedule Details * Open Availability * Mornings, Mid-days, Evenings, Weekends, and General Holidays are Required Here are some of the perks we offer * Free Lunch with most shifts * Opportunities to learn and grow * Onsite Parking What you’ll do: * Provide warm, exceptional customer service * Operate the cash register and process payments, refunds, and exchanges * Take and prepare gift basket orders with creativity and attention to detail * Coordinate basket production, delivery, and shipping * Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace * Work as part of a team while confidently managing tasks independently What we’re looking for: * Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused * Strong communication and basic math skills * Creative and detail-oriented * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Previous food service, catering, or basket-making experience is an asset - we’re happy to train the right person! Working Conditions & Physical Requirements * Flexibility to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Comfortable working in hot or cold environments and handling challenging customer situations. * Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching. * Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks and occasionally lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs.).
