JOIN THE ITALIAN CENTRE SHOP FAMILY! We’re hiring a Full-Time Deli Clerk at our Northland Village location (#2150-5111 Northland Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2L 2J8) ! If you’re passionate about food, flavours, and creating a great customer experience, we’d love to meet you! At Italian Centre Shop, our Deli Clerks do more than serve food. We help customers discover new flavours, choose the perfect cheese or cured meat, build a beautiful party tray, or find something special to share with family and friends. What You'll Do * Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. * Prepare, portion, wrap, and present meats, cheeses, salads, fruits, and vegetables. * Help customers explore cheeses, cured meats, olives, and other specialty foods and suggest ideas for pairing, entertaining, or trying something new. * Assemble party trays and prepare customer orders with care. * Safely operate food preparation equipment. * Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe department. * Work collaboratively to support daily deli operations. No deli experience? That’s okay! We’re happy to train someone who is eager to learn about our products and share their passion for food with our customers. The Deli Clerk is responsible for providing friendly customer service, preparing and presenting specialty food items, and maintaining a clean, food-safe environment. They will also assist customers with product recommendations and assemble custom orders like party trays.

Candidates should have a genuine passion for food and hospitality with strong communication and teamwork skills. While previous experience in retail or food service is an asset, it is not required as training is provided.
