Position Summary: The Clinical Pathology Technician is responsible for performing laboratory analysis of biological samples in accordance with study plans, SOPs and GLP. Key Responsibilities: * · Prepares materials and solutions, operates and maintains the equipment such as the analyzers for chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and others. * · Performs all required tests on blood, plasma and other biological fluids or tissue homogenates, including microscopic examination of blood smears and urine. * · Records observations manually or transfers data to on-line computer as per SOPs and GLP. * · Performs internal and external Quality Control procedures. * · Assists in developing new methods and validates instruments. * · Performs other related duties as required. Required Qualifications: * D.E.C. in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field. * Reading and writing of English is mandatory as all study documents are produced in English, Fluent in French for internal communication.
