We are looking for a Project Manager for Resource Planning and Dispatching Software for Passenger Rail Location: Eastern Canada or Eastern USA (remote) To lead one of our project teams, including the accountability for implementation of our products at rail companies. To advise and support our current and future customers in North America on our solutions. Who wants to be a part of a growing, internationally recognised and market-leading software company. Your tasks You are responsible for planning, controlling and reporting about your dedicated projects, including coordination of cross-functional teams. You find solutions in our product suite and work closely with our teams in Germany to deliver customer contract requirements. You are accountable for leading the testing, installation and configuration of IVU software products. You build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. You support our sales team in acquisition and contract management. This involves, coordinating with internal and external teams to organise and deliver demonstrations of IVU software; including, developing external-facing documentation for prospective customers, requirement-gathering and develop pricing documentation. You will contribute to the tender process from RFIs, RFPs, to tender submissions. You contribute to the continuous improvement of IVU’s Project Management practices and tools. Your profile You are excited about the public transportation sector and ideally have experience in a similar field (e.g., with a Train Operating Company, transport authority, transport consultancy, or a transport planning and operations solutions provider). You understand and have experience in delivering software-based projects in complex organizations. You are knowledgeable and have 5–10 years' experience in project planning, execution and monitoring, including best practices in Project Management. A PMP certification (or equivalent) would be an advantage. You have the desire to grow with an organisation. You have a strong customer focus, can-do approach, and strong sense of organization and communication skills. You want to make a difference to how people travel, how society manages its resources, and in supporting a sustainable environment. You are fluent in English (mandatory), with other languages such as German or French being considered an asset. A note on location and travel requirements This is a remote role, open only to candidates based in Eastern Canada or Eastern USA, with existing right‑to‑work. The role involves occasional travels for client meetings, onsite work, and team collaboration in Canada and the USA, plus occasional travel to Germany to meet with our parent company. Some overnight stays may be required.
