This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics operations, supporting the movement of goods with professionalism and enthusiasm. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long distances or local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and placement of cargo * Maintain accurate documentation for each trip, including delivery logs, freight manifests, and inspection reports * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries * Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety * Follow all company policies related to safety procedures, hours of service regulations, and cargo securement standards *Requirements* * Valid Class 1 commercial driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record * Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation * Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securement techniques * Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks * Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping * Physical ability to lift heavy loads, perform inspections, and work in various weather conditions Join our team today and drive your career forward!
