Role: Frontend Engineer (Contract) - React and Node.Js Location: Toronto 4 days a week on site F2F interview required Background check MANDATORY Duration: 6+ Months Note Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident only CTH is a must Job Description Role Overview Seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong React, TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js experience to build scalable web applications, APIs and modern user experiences. The role requires expertise in frontend architecture, cloud-native development, system integration, testing, and DevOps practices. Must-Have Skills React, TypeScript, JavaScript and modern frontend development Node.js and REST API integration Experience building scalable, high-performance web applications Frontend architecture, component design and state management Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Cosmos DB Git, Azure DevOps and automated testing frameworks Performance optimization, monitoring and troubleshooting Strong understanding of security, authentication and API integration Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade React applications Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js Collaborate with product, architecture and engineering teams to deliver features Optimize application performance, scalability and user experience Implement automated testing and participate in CI/CD processes Contribute to technical design, code reviews and engineering best practices Good-to-Have Skills C#/.NET development experience Microsoft Graph or enterprise platform integrations Cloud-native architectures and distributed systems Grafana, Prometheus or application monitoring tools AI/LLM integration experience GraphQL, Redis or modern data platform experience

Design and develop enterprise-grade React applications and integrate RESTful APIs using Node.js. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.

Requires strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js for building scalable web applications and cloud-native development. Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents and be available for a face-to-face interview in Toronto.
