Role: Oracle EPM Location: Montreal, QC Background check MANDATORY Duration: 6 + Months Note Working hours Mondays to Fridays Flexibility to work during nonstandard working hours days as requested Working from home voluntary basis for up to 2 days per week after 3 months of joining subject to managers discretion Calendar Holiday to follow USA Summary JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an Intermediate Oracle EPM engineer with PLSQL and Shell Scripting skills Candidate to work on BAU Dev to perform optimization and scale our Hyperion financial planning and consolidation infrastructure Having Python is plus Shell scripting and PLSQL to maintain enterprise grade financial systems Key Responsibilities Ensure high availability and performance of Hyperion Planning and Consolidation systems Design develop and maintain EPM applications metadata web forms and reports Write optimize and troubleshoot complex Calculation Scripts Calc Scripts and business rules Develop SQL and PLSQL scripts stored procedures functions and packages for data manipulation and transformation Develop and maintain batch processes using Shell Scripting UNIXLinux to support data loads system automation and operational monitoring Utilize ControlM or similar enterprise job scheduling tools to design manage and monitor complex job workflows ensuring optimal performance and reliability Perform comprehensive root cause analysis RCA on performance degradation and system failures developing and implementing longterm preventative solutions Develop and enforce best practices coding standards and architectural patterns Create and maintain detailed documentation for Oracle EPM processes system architecture and performance improvements

The role involves ensuring high availability and performance of Hyperion Planning and Consolidation systems, as well as developing and maintaining EPM applications. Responsibilities also include writing and optimizing complex Calculation Scripts and business rules.

Candidates should have experience with PLSQL and Shell Scripting, and familiarity with Python is a plus. The role requires skills in maintaining enterprise-grade financial systems and performing root cause analysis on system failures.
