Company Description Jabeen's Cuisine is a family-owned Indian and Pakistani restaurant known for its traditional flavors and warm, welcoming service. In addition to daily dine-in and takeout options, the restaurant offers catering services for a variety of events and gatherings. Jabeen's Cuisine also features an event hall that can host more than 150 guests for weddings, receptions, and celebrations. The team is committed to delivering high-quality food and memorable experiences for every guest. Role Description The Restaurant General Manager (contract role, remote) will oversee overall restaurant operations, financial performance, and guest experience. This role will manage budgets, monitor P&L performance, and support planning for catering and large events held in the banquet hall. The General Manager will collaborate with on-site staff to maintain service standards, ensure customer satisfaction, and address guest feedback. Responsibilities include guiding hiring decisions, setting operational processes, creating schedules, and working with ownership on marketing, promotions, and continuous improvement initiatives. While the role is remote, regular communication with the restaurant team and occasional on-site visits may be required. Qualifications Proficiency in P&L Management and Budgeting to oversee financial performance and cost control. Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to ensure positive guest experiences. Experience with Hiring, including interviewing, onboarding, and developing restaurant staff. Background in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in family-owned or ethnic cuisine settings. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage remotely. Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and quality. Familiarity with event and catering coordination is beneficial. Relevant education in business, hospitality management, or a related field is a plus.
