Reference Number: 32182 Jardeg is recruiting for Carpenter Foreperson for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position. Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters on-site Ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards Work closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency. Work with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project schedule Provide clear direction to those team members you’re leading, to ensure project targets are achieved Attend and providing input at project meetings and ensuring that information is transmitted to those on your team Assess the target production goal, then establishing a team workflow while executing the plan to achieve it Efficiently and safely use the relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies for the project Support and maintain healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture Maintain clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites Minimum Requirements You are a skilled Carpenter that has experience managing construction teams in industrial environment Hold a valid Carpenter Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade SCOT / CSTS-2020 WHMIS 2015 You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role You have an understanding of construction phases and workflow Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY! Exigences
Must be a skilled Carpenter with a valid Journeyperson ticket or equivalent proof of hours and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Required certifications include SCOT, CSTS-2020, and WHMIS 2015, along with the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
