Responsibilities Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings. Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors. The Foreperson is responsible for the layout, assembly, fabrication, and repair of piping systems for water, steam, chemicals, and fuel. They must ensure functional operation of components and use testing equipment to troubleshoot fitting errors and leaks.

Candidates must hold a Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeyperson Ticket and certifications in CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, and Confined Space Entry. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather is required, along with legal entitlement to work in Canada.
