Reference Number: 31829 Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Yard Labourer Foreman to join the Technical Workforce Inc. team at the Calgary yard! Responsibilities Lead and mentor yard personnel, ensuring work is completed safely and productively Plan and schedule work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space, and facilities for subsequent performance of duties. Monitor workmanship and performance of subordinates by inspecting projects assigned to them. Aid with materials and equipment - inventory counts, loading and processing orders Communicate effectively with site teams, dispatch, and management regarding yard inventory and material requirements General cleanup and housekeeping Lead safety meetings of the yard Operate telehandler equipment safely and efficiently Requirements Current Telehandler operating ticket is required Minimum 3 years of yard experience in construction, industrial, or related environments Previous experience leading crews or acting in a foreman, lead hand, or supervisory capacity Strong understanding of material handling, equipment management, and yard logistics Demonstrates proficiency using a computer and communication tools such as SAP, email, internet, and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, walk on uneven ground Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!
