As a member of the team you will be responsible for a variety of duties including: Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW) Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Operate brazing and soldering equipment Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers. Requirements: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training 5 years of work experience in the trade (including apprenticeship time) Alberta Journeyperson Welder and/or Red Seal certificate required Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odors, Hot, Cold/refrigerated. Earn Competitive Wage: from $43.55 to $44.80 Permanent Full Time Employment Please note that Applicants may be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Exigences

Candidates must have completed vocational or technical training and possess 5 years of trade experience, including apprenticeship. An Alberta Journeyperson Welder and/or Red Seal certificate is required.
