Welcome to The Jean Tweed Centre - where hope, help, and healing intersect to rewrite women's stories and offer second chances. For over four decades, we've been a beacon of support for women, children, and families grappling with substance use, mental health challenges, trauma, housing instability, problem gambling, and more. Our holistic approach addresses the multifaceted needs of our clients, providing a safe haven for transformation and growth. At our on-site child development centre, we nurture infants, babies and children from 0 - 6 through tailored parenting workshops and support for pregnant and parenting women. Our residential and outpatient services, coupled with continuing care, offer a continuum of support tailored to individual needs. With live-in and transitional housing options spanning seven sites across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), we ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all those in need. Serving women, children, and families across Ontario, our commitment to innovation and accessibility has made us a trailblazer in the field since our inception in 1983. Join us in our mission of lifting women up, giving a second chance, offering hope, and paving the path to a brighter future for all.
