Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY: Primary duties include general production labor activities under the direction of a mentor employee that include product assembly and various machine operation actions that progress to a machine operator position. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma * 2-5 years manufacturing and machine operating experience QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly * Strong attention to detail and quality control * Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks * Good understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse or manufacturing setting * Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity * Ability to work in fast-paced environments * Aptitude for Math, problem solving, computer and mechanics * Ability to work and communicate well with others * Proficiency with hand tools RESPONSIBILITIES: * Setup and change product materials in accordance with the production plan * Continuously maintain or exceed production efficiency goals * Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines including wire looms to produce metal parts and metal products such as wire screening, fencing, tinware, metal baskets, racks, hooks, metal tubing and similar articles * Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools * Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products * Check products for quality and other specifications * May clean and lubricate machinery * Work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures * Other duties may be assigned accordingly

The machine operator is responsible for setting up and operating automatic machinery to produce metal parts while maintaining production efficiency. They also perform product assembly, quality checks, and routine maintenance on equipment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and 2-5 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience. The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with hand and power tools.
