HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT JOURNEYPERSON Edmonton, AB About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Heavy Duty Equipment Journeyperson to join our team in Edmonton. In this hands-on role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of a diverse fleet of specialized municipal and public works equipment. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles while working alongside a collaborative team that supports continuous learning, professional development, and career growth. What You’ll Do: * Perform inspections, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty and specialized municipal equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. * Repair and maintain vacuum trucks, hydro-vac units, street sweepers, refuse and recycling trucks, sewer inspection equipment, and other specialty vehicles. * Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining service documentation. * Collaborate with the Service Writer, Parts Department, and fellow technicians to maximize equipment uptime and customer satisfaction. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory safety standards. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: * Shop, yard, warehouse settings. * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and components. * Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. * Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
