POSITION: Elementary Primary Teacher - temporary
ASSIGNMENT: Kindergarten
FTE: 1.0
LOCATION: Bouchie Lake Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2025****until June 30, 2026, or earlier depending on the return of the incumbent
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary level
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary level
**A Reasonable Expectation: **based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting
Other:
- Willingness to work as part of the School-based team to implement plans for the success of all students
- Willingness to support the school plan for student success
- Commitment to working as part of a team in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement.
The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
