About the role

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Now, if you were to come on board as one of our **Data Analyst/Engineer,**we’d ask you to do the following for us:

Expectations & Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage CI/CD pipelines for high-visibility dashboards used by Senior Executives and Operations teams, including automated testing, validation, and deployment of data transformation workflows (Git, PowerBI).

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and Python, applying best practices in coding, data transformation, and pipeline development, including building and maintaining ETL pipelines (SQL Server, Snowflake).

  • Design and maintain CI/CD workflows leveraging version control (Git), build automation, and continuous testing (including QA, regression testing, automated exception reporting) to validate code changes in near real-time.

  • Enable reliable deployments through automated promotion to staging and production environments, with monitoring and alerting systems to detect failures and support rapid rollback.

  • Develop and deploy scalable transformation logic using Snowpark (Python), including Python UDFs in Snowflake for classification, tagging, and business rule standardization.

  • Schedule and manage automated jobs using Windows Task Scheduler to support data pipeline execution and reporting workflows.

  • Build and maintain PowerBI datasets and reports, including DAX measures and Power Query (M), to support KPI and incentive reporting; provide support for dashboard updates and enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Demonstrate strong initiative and problem-solving, with a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement and ensure data accuracy.

  • Act as a collaborative team member and trusted business partner, working effectively both independently and cross-functionally with stakeholders (Technology, Finance, Operations, Marketing)

  • Provide ad-hoc analytics to support strategic decision-making and business direction.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a similar role (internships and co-op experience considered).
  • Experience in the retail or food service industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and database management.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning techniques, and statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Understanding of data integrity, quality, and security best practices.
