Position Summary...
Lead Specialist, Realty Project Management oversees warehouse operations and project execution to meet service, cost, productivity, health and safety, and quality standards. This role ensures effective communication and coordination with internal and external partners while providing leadership and guidance to associates.
What you'll do...
Lead Specialist, Realty Project Management manages processes and relationships within warehouse and staging facilities. This role plays an active leadership role, providing coaching, development, and performance management to team members. It also collaborates with Market Project Managers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
This position is responsible for executing defined processes to ensure asset protection, including receiving, picking, and shipment activities according to standards. The Lead Specialist may also participate in the development and improvement of leading practices and processes. A strong understanding of fixtures, Microsoft tools, CapEx, and OpEx is essential to identify and implement cost improvement opportunities proactively.
The role involves managing the end-to-end process of material flow into the warehouse, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, receiving, picking, packaging, and transporting. Collaboration with Market Project Managers, Procurement, and other partners is crucial to maintain inventory accuracy and support project goals.
The Lead Specialist also builds phasing plans with Design and Construction teams to minimize disruption impacts, ensures proper training for associates, and reviews plans and budgets to ensure alignment. This role ensures compliance with safety and policy standards, providing leadership and support to Store Managers and Project ASMs in project stores. Effective communication with all relevant stakeholders is key to the successful implementation of approved plans.
