Full Time Temporary High School Teachers St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School is a Grade 9-12 School St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School invites applications for full time temporary positions in Spruce Grove, Alberta.
The first assignment is for a Full Time Temporary Humanities Teacher. SPACHS is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Humanities teacher for a full time temporary contract through to the end of the 2025-2026 school year. This teaching assignment includes Social Studies 9 and 10-1, Religion 15 and 25, and Food Studies 1 classes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching Social Studies and Religion across grade levels. Experience teaching Food Studies or other CTS courses in an inclusive environment will be an asset for applicants. This position will commence April 7, 2026 or earlier if available and end June 29, 2026 of the 2025-2026 school year.
The second assignment is for a Full Time Temporary Phys Ed Teacher . SPACHS is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Education teacher for a full time contract through to the end of the 2025-2026 school year. This teaching assignment includes Phys Ed 9, 10, 20 and Sport Performance 9 classes. The successful candidate will demonstrate passion for teaching Phys Ed across all grade levels. Experience teaching high school Phys Ed in an inclusive environment will be an asset for applicants. This position will commence April 7, 2026 and end June 29, 2026 of the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications & Application Process Qualified applicants are invited to submit and Employment is subject to a clear Criminal and Intervention Record search:
- Detailed portfolio outlining qualifications and supporting document
- Recent pastoral reference
- Verification of qualifications (Alberta Teacher Certificate) and experience
- Verification of Teacher Qualifications Statement (TQS)
