Overview
We are hiring a Route Delivery Driver responsible for managing a structured B2B route across the Okanagan Valley.
This role combines:
- Route delivery
- Customer-facing account support
- Hands-on equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
This is a technical, physical, field-based position—not a general delivery job.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a company delivery vehicle on a structured daily route
- Deliver, restock, and retrieve product from automotive and industrial customers
- Perform inventory checks and maintain stock accuracy at customer sites
- Work directly with shop, service, and parts personnel at each stop
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in the field and warehouse
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately
- Identify equipment or account issues and escalate appropriately
- Use mobile/tablet systems to complete daily reporting
Who This Role Is For (Mechanical Fit Required)
This role is ideal for people with hands-on mechanical or shop experience, such as:
- Automotive service technicians or apprentices
- Shop assistants or lube/tire technicians
- Heavy duty, equipment, or industrial maintenance workers
- Parts department or automotive dealership staff
- Field service technicians or repair-focused roles
- Mechanically inclined delivery or route drivers (commercial only)
You should be comfortable:
- Diagnosing and fixing basic mechanical or equipment issues
- Working in shop or industrial environments
- Handling tools and physical equipment regularly
This Role Is NOT a Fit For
- Non-technical delivery or courier-only experience
- Office-based or administrative candidates
- Candidates without mechanical or hands-on technical background
- Individuals unable to perform physical work daily
- Remote or hybrid job seekers
Requirements (Strict)
- Must live in the Kelowna / Okanagan area
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or shop/technical experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working independently on a structured route
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and basic systems
Why This Role Works
- Combines mechanical work + customer interaction + structured route
- Hands-on technical environment (not just driving)
- Stable weekday schedule with consistent routes
- Exposure to automotive and industrial customer environments
- Long-term growth into technical or account-based roles
