About This Position

We’re seeking a sales professional skilled in outbound calling, with a strong ability to build relationships, manage pipelines effectively, navigate objections when they arise, and confidently engage with both the Canadian and U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage potential customers through cold calling and outreach, building early-stage relationships with prospects.

  • Clearly communicate and tailor our value proposition during conversations.

  • Consistently schedule 30-40 qualified discovery calls per month.

  • Manage and maintain an organized, healthy sales pipeline.

  • Use phone and SimplyCast’s CRM tools extensively to track activity, log interactions, and manage follow-ups.

  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives (AEs) to align on strategy and ensure smooth handoffs.

  • Build, refine, and segment prospect lists, prioritizing outreach based on fit and opportunity.

  • Confidently handle objections and adapt messaging in real time.

  • Nurture leads through ongoing engagement until they are sales-ready.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve outreach strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a sales or business development role.

  • At least 1 year of consistent cold calling or high-volume outbound prospecting experience.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and maintaining accurate activity tracking.

  • Solid understanding of core sales concepts such as KPIs, quotas, pipelines, and value propositions.

  • Strong communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging and speaking with people.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed targets.

  • Confident and comfortable conducting conversations over the phone in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resilient and persistent, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a strong sense of accountability.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time across multiple leads and follow-ups.

  • Coachable and open to feedback, with a desire to continuously improve performance.

  • Adaptable and quick-thinking, able to tailor messaging based on different prospect personas.

  • Collaborative team player who works well with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
