THE POSITION

Keyera is currently seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our Calgary-based Enterprise Technology Products team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Technology Products, you are a bridge between business and technology stakeholders, working across core enterprise domains including Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

You will lead complex analysis initiatives, translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements, and collaborate closely with technology, architecture, and delivery teams to enable scalable, high value enterprise solutions.

This role is well suited for an experienced analyst who brings strong business acumen, systems thinking, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple functional areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders and subject matter experts across Keyera Enablement functions including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Asset Management
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and outcomes

Analysis & Requirements Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for complex enterprise initiatives and sustainment work
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business processes, functional requirements, business data definitions and non‑functional requirements
  • Develop and maintain data mappings between source and target systems to support system integrations, data migrations, and reporting needs
  • Translate business needs into clear, high-quality artifacts (e.g., business requirements, user stories, process maps, use cases)
  • Ensure requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with enterprise standards and strategic objectives

Solution Enablement

  • Partner with solution architects, product analysts, and delivery teams to evaluate solution options and tradeoffs
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues between systems
  • Contribute to solution design by validating business fit, impacts, and downstream implications
  • Lead testing activities including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, data quality, and system usage
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and actionable recommendations to resolve business and operational challenges
  • Mentor and coach intermediate and junior business analysts
  • Promote consistent analysis practices, templates, and standards across Technology Products teams
  • Support change management and adoption activities to ensure solutions deliver sustained business value

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Solutions Analyst in one or more of the following domains: Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Enterprise Asset Management.
  • A background in Finance is considered an asset
  • Strong experience delivering and supporting large enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, EAM, HRIS) and complex integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analysis for large, cross functional initiatives
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and outcomes
  • Business Analysis certification is an asset
  • A strong business mindset with the ability to connect technology solutions to business outcomes
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and influencing without direct authority
  • A collaborative, pragmatic approach and a continuous improvement mindset
  • The confidence to challenge assumptions and drive clarity in complex situations
