Outside Sales Representative – Ottawa/Gatineau
Fresh Start Foods is hiring aFull-Time, Permanent Bilingual Sales Representativeto drivebusiness developmentand market penetration across theOttawa and Gatineau territory. This role is designed for a "hunter" who excels atlead generation,B2B sales, andclient relationship management.
###Schedule & Territory
**Schedule:**Monday to Friday.
Location:Territory coversOttawa - Gatineau(Office visit once per week in Ottawa).
###Compensation and Benefits
-Earnings:From$65,000 per year + sales commission. -**Allowances:**Phone allowance +car allowanceand travel reimbursement. -Health & Wellness:ComprehensiveHealth Care Benefit Program(Medical, Dental, Vision). -**Financial Future:**RRSP Program , Annual Profit Sharing and Employee Purchase Program. -**Environment:**A collaborative, team-based work culture with a deep commitment to safety.
###Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do
-**Drive Sales Growth:**Proactively identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities to exceed company revenue targets in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. -Strategic Territory Management:Create and execute a robustsales strategyand business plan for your assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with regional objectives. -**Market Penetration:**Implement action plans to break into new markets (restaurants, institutions, etc.) and secure high-potential accounts. -Relationship Building:Establish and nurture long-term loyalty with clients, serving as a dedicatedAccount Managerand trusted advisor. -**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**Partner with internal teams (Operations, Product Development) to deliver tailored produce solutions and superior service. -**Professional Representation:**Be the face of Fresh Start Foods, delivering compelling bilingual pitches and presentations to key decision-makers.
###Required Qualifications/Skills
-Language Proficiency:****Fully Bilingual (English and French)is required to effectively serve the Ottawa and Gatineau markets. -Proven Sales Experience:3+ years of success indirect selling,outside sales, oraccount managementwith a record of exceeding quotas. -**Hunter Mentality:**A results-driven professional with a relentless drive to secure new business and close deals. -**Exceptional Negotiation Skills:**Expert at navigating complex contracts and high-level negotiations with diplomacy and persuasion. -Technical Proficiency:Comfortable usingGoogle Suite(Docs, Sheets, Slides) to track sales activity and collaborate. -Mobility:Must hold a validClass G Driver’s Licenseand have a reliable vehicle for travel within the territory. -Industry Knowledge:Experience in theFoodservice or Hospitality industryis highly preferred.
