About the role
Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for anEXPERIENCED GRADES PERSONto join ourBASEdivision.
This is full time seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.
The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to:

Understands grades and general survey, and possesses the ability to read and understand drawings

Provide accurate cut and fill directions for grader operator

The ability to read grade stakes, offsetting hubs, and taking measurements
-
Must know how to differentiate grade markings and measuring points
-
Ability to work long hours and overtime in a physically demanding work setting
-
Assist in equipment pre/post trip inspections and general maintenance
Pay Scale: $25-$30
Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment. They will also possess a valid driver’s license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties. Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a safety-minded and high accountability work culture while working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
***Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment. ***
