Parkway Nissan of Stoney Creek is seeking a Full-Time Lube and Tire Technician

Parkway Nissan is a family-owned and operated dealership in Stoney Creek ON. We are currently looking for a Lube and Tire Technician. Success in this role can transition to an apprenticeship. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to be successful in the industry long term. We have a great Management team and a dedicated Shop Foreman here to help you succeed. We thoroughly train our apprentices so that they can competently complete all tasks when they are ready to write their 310S exam. Role and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and conduct minor repairs & maintenances in a timely manner (Example: Oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, seasonal tire swap overs, filter replacements and minor repairs)
• Inspect all vehicle fluid levels, air and cabin air filtration systems, belts, batteries, and other wear items, and report on these items to the Service Advisor in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, safe work area before, during, and after vehicle service
• Restocking supplies
• Remove, transport and restock seasonal tires to storage
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service, communication & problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Saturday availability (Required)
• Punctual, accountable, and dependable (Must arrive on time and be ready for work)
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma, or equivalent experience
• Valid Class G License
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• 1 Year minimum of work experience in automotive repair & service
• Lube Technician experience an asset
• Extensive knowledge of various vehicles and their service needs
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
