  • Provide guidance supporting consistent application of employment legislation

Organizational Effectiveness & Change

  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, role clarity, team effectiveness, and change initiatives
  • Coach leaders through transformation, ambiguity, and change, ensuring people impacts are thoughtfully managed
  • Apply a systems‑thinking and continuous improvement mindset to enhance HR practices and the employee experience

Enterprise HR Programs

  • Actively contribute to and support enterprise‑wide HR initiatives, including salary reviews, talent assessment, workforce planning, performance management, health & safety, training, and organizational change
  • Ensure people practices align with mission, values, and compliance requirements, while meeting business and operational needs

Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, CHRL or CPHR designation required
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including senior‑level HRBP roles supporting complex client groups
  • Demonstrated success advising and influencing senior and executive leaders in large, multi‑faceted organizations
  • Strong, practical knowledge of HR practices across corporate/head office environments
  • Proven experience managing high‑risk, complex employee relations issues with confidence and sound judgement
  • Demonstrated commitment to The Salvation Army’s Mission and Core Values, with the ability to integrate mission into people‑related decisions
  • High level of self‑awareness, integrity, and accountability; exercises discretion and sound judgement
  • Trusted advisor with strong coaching, consulting, and relationship‑management skills
  • Results‑oriented, organized, and comfortable operating autonomously as a senior individual contributor
