EIPS is recruiting a temporary part-time (0.571 FTE) Senior High Mechanics Teacher at Salisbury Composite High.

Salisbury Composite

High serves approximately 1,490 students in grades 10 to 12, with 68 teaching

staff and 23 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.

Salisbury Composite High, "Home of the Sabres,” provides

diversity in programs and excellent opportunities that prepare and develop

students for the future. "Sabre Pride" is demonstrated through a

positive learning environment in which the members of the school community work

together to promote the attitudes, skills and knowledge that enable individuals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Effective organization and classroom management skills
  • Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
  • Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
