POSITION SUMMARY
This is a temporary internship opportunity (Summer 2026) for a current student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales coordination and operations. The Sales Coordinator Intern will support the Sales team with order processing, documentation, reporting, and general administrative tasks that contribute to the efficient flow of customer orders and sales activities.
This role provides exposure to sales operations, customer interactions, and cross-functional collaboration, while developing strong organizational, communication, and systems skills in a fast-paced business environment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Assist with processing sales and product orders, ensuring accurate entry of information into internal systems
- Support the organization and maintenance of customer order files and related documentation
- Review order acknowledgements for accuracy and flag any changes related to specifications, pricing, or delivery timelines
- Assist with updating delivery schedules and communicating changes to the Sales team as required
- Support inventory tracking activities and assist with preparing summaries for management review
- Assist with preparing pre-delivery, installation, and internal service documentation
- Support the preparation of reports, data summaries, and basic sales-related documents
- Assist with updating weekly lists and trackers used by the Sales department
- Participate in Sales or Service-related meetings relevant to the role
- Provide administrative support to Sales team members and assist new staff as needed
- Support general Sales department activities and special projects
- Perform other related duties as required
KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Business, Sales, Administration, or related program
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with data entry, customer service, or administrative work is an asset
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing quality work
