Position Summary:
The National Account Manager will manage a portfolio of National Chain Restaurant accounts in a profitable and sustainable manner while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full accountability for managing assigned National Chain Restaurant accounts, including key relationships, contract management and profitability.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Coordinate chain restaurant costing and pricing.
- Engage and align Flanagan staff and departments to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring all aspects of the business are properly prioritized and dealt with – internally (within Flanagan’s) and externally (with customers and vendors as needed).
- Address customer concerns promptly, and recommend effective solutions.
- Manage escalations and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Prepared detailed reports, and analyze data to support assigned restaurant chains.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in alignment with customer needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization.
- Contribute to the strategic plan and company values.
- Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role.
- Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice.
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.
- Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service excellence.
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
- Completion of College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business considered an asset.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain positive and effective relationships.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Previous experience using MS Excel and analyzing data using vlookup and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Class G Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle for work related travel as required.
