About the role

About The Role This position is responsible for the supporting of molding chocolate production by preparing, removing, organizing, all raw and finished materials. The Molding Line Assistant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, including SAP and recipe data according to the production schedule.
- Assemble containers, package, label, wrap, and handle setup and clean-down of the molding line.
- Prepare raw materials to ensure continuous line operation.
- Follow GMP practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate production details to incoming staff for smooth shift transitions.
- Track inventory, clean magnets, and document CCP requirements.
- Operate lift trucks safely.
- Maintain cleanliness of the production room and follow sanitation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with BCOS (Barry Callebaut Operating System), TPM/Lean Manufacturing standards, and adhere to all food and employee safety policies.
- Perform and document HACCP, quality, and safety checks daily.
About You
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Demonstrated hoist operator experience.
- Demonstrated lift truck experience/certification.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Standing and walking for extended periods – 12-hour shifts
- Must be able to freely move around the entire facility.
- Must be able to lift, pull and push 55lbs.
- Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
Compensation: Hourly Rate: $24.648
Hours of Work: Continental Night Shift 7:00pm to 7:00am
Shift Details: Night Shift
Employment type: Temporary (6‑month contract) or Permanent.
