What you will be doing as a maintenance staff
- Hands on work, strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and excellent communication among the other hostel departments
- General building maintenance (interior and outdoor)
- Coordinating with external trades or contractors when necessary
- Other duties as required
What we look for
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.
- Previous experience with general labour, painting, dry wall repair, and minor plumbing & electrical
- A positive, can-do attitude, willing to approach all sorts of challenges
- Excellent communication and trouble-shooting skills
